With the hard work and efforts of our two capstone students and master beekeepers, Maddie Wright and Olivia Osmond, the Green program acquired multiple grants receiving an average of about 100,000 honey bees. Their efforts are going to be an amazing contribution to our program. The grants were funded by the Honeybee Conservancy and the Whole Kids Foundation as well as a sustaining mentorship with Erika Thompson of Texas Bee Works. We are extremely appreciative of all of these programs' partnership and their help to ensure our efforts in the conservation of the honey bee. Thanks so Much!
