Hive Check

While inspecting the colonies, we noticed there was a lot to be cleaned up within the hives to ensure they are ready for the upcoming fall and winter season. Including removing irregular comb build up, identifying larva and eggs. We also checked for mites, beetles and wax moths in case there was any unexpected guests trying to move into the hives.
Thanks to local beekeeper and Green parent Gina McCool for her time and efforts in leading the charge and educating us all during the inspection.

Ezra certified that the hives were healthy and good to go,
until we check in with our bees once again
